Lana has over 20 years of experience in medical administration. She began her career in the medical field as a unit secretary for Allegheny General Hospital and then transitioned to UPMC. While working as a unit secretary, she completed the Medical Insurance Specialist Program thru CCAC. She then transitioned to UPP Plastic Surgery, supporting multiple physicians (Drs. Manders, Russavage, Rubin, Wollstein, Azari, Nguyen, Washington and Spiess) over the past 19 years her way up to Senior Administrative Assistant for Drs. James Russavage and Alexander Spiess. She recently also completed her training to become a certified coding specialist.
As the Practice Manager for Pittsburgh Hand and Nerve, she strives to provide her employees with a professional work environment and looks to provide our clients with an exceptional, concierge-type patient experience.
